One of my favorite things about our house, and a total selling point for me when we were looking to buy, is the original kitchen sink! It is difficult to find a house as old as ours (1927) that has not had the kitchen gutted and re-done. My kitchen is probably my favorite room in the house, largely because I really feel like I get a taste of a simpler way of life, a step back in time every time I'm in it.
